New Product Release: Cobham Avionics - Artex Products  is proud to announce that the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command has approved the Artex ME406P and the ME406 BLACK Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs) for operation on UH/HH-60A/L/M "Blackhawk" aircraft.  The ME406 BLACK is our first ELT specifically designed and manufactured with Army Aviation units in mind.  Our goal is to improve capability, survivability, and system reliability in every product we produce to support the warfighter. Click here for technical specifications.

New Product Release: The Artex 2-Wire Remote Interface for Cost-Effective Upgrades to 406 MHz ELT Technology is now available  Many existing TSO C91a installations with Juliet, Pointer and Narco 121.5 MHz utilize 2 wires between the cockpit remote switch and the ELT. Other manufacturers of 121.5 MHz ELTs use 3 or 4 wires. The Artex 2-Wire Remote Interface uses just 2 existing wires from the wiring harness to connect the new cockpit remote switch to an Artex 406 MHz ELT for a more simplified, cost-efficient upgrade. Click here

Transport Canada Approval for ME406 ELT Series! Artex ME406 ELT Series with LiMnO2 battery packs have received Transport Canada and Industry Canada certification and are now approved for installation in aircraft registered in Canada.
