The overall trend of increasing demand for air transportation of passengers or freight as well as environmental limitations (noise reduction, fuel efficiency) require airlines to constantly increase or modernize their fleets. This presents commercial aircraft manufacturers with exciting opportunities for increasing unit sales.

The Artex Commercial Aviation Program provides top-of-the line emergency locator transmitter systems to OEMs fulfilling installation requirements through BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) or SFE (Seller Furnished Equipment) options.

The Artex B406 series ELTs have been modified to interface with Boeing's Master Caution System and is approved for use on all models of the 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777.

The Artex C406-1 and C406-2 series ELTs are available through aftermarket STC installations. Please contact EMTEQ or EAD Aerospace for further details.
