This Data Base contains programming protocol listings and represents the most current information available from the governing local authorities but is subject to change at any time and is presented for REFERENCE USE ONLY.

For countries not having any protocols listed, the following guidelines apply:

1.) The programming facility is to request the customer to provide specific ELT programming information issued by the country’s aviation authorities.

2.) If a customer requests programming for a country and cannot provide confirmed information as to the locally accepted protocol, the programming facility may program the ELT as requested (in compliance with Cospas/Sarsat aviation ELT protocols) provided that the customer accepts in writing all responsibilities for the subsequent use of the ELT, registration and any future re-programming charges.
